Victor has teamed up with Schoeller Technologies to bring innovative fabrics with coldblack®, the Sun Reflector - UV Protector. As an officer, you are required to wear dark colors for work, and it heats up stronger when exposed to direct sunlight compared to light colors. This no longer needs to happen! Now there is coldblack® on Victor fabrics, a special finish which reduces heat build-up and provides reliable protection from UV rays. Meaning that, while wearing your uniform, you will perspire less, feel more comfortable, and work better.

Dark colored textiles absorb both visible and invisiblerays of sunlight and therefore absorb heat. coldblack® reduces this absorption of heat rays, particularly in the case of darker colors like officers' uniforms. The result is tangibly better heat management. Victor fabrics finished with coldblack® heat up less in all colors compared with material without a coldblack® finish. Many textiles worn in the summertime or exposed to the sun offer poor protection from damaging UV rays. The waves of the UV rays can penetrate deep into the skin and accelerate aging.
