iPod Contest Rules
No purchase necessary
1 - Entries Starting May 17, 2005, complete the questionnaire on our website and register a valid e-mail address. Only one entry per person/e-mail address will be accepted. This contest is solely aimed at Canadian and American citizens. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST, July 22, 2005 (the Contest Closing Date).
All entries become the property of Victor Innovatex upon receipt and will not be returned. No responsibility will be taken for any website failure during the promotion, any problem or technical malfunction related to a telephone network/line, on-line computer system, server, access provider, computer equipment or software, as well as failure by Victor Innovatex to receive any e-mail, on-line or Internet entry due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or on any website, or any combination thereof including any break or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer as a result of playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Victor Innovatex reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Victor Innovatex corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest.
2-Prize There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded, consisting of an iPod mini 4 GB by Apple. Approximate retail value is CA$250. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date.
Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and is not convertible to cash. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be sent out, except to the selected entrant. By entering this contest, the participants consent to receive information about new products. However, if a participant does not wish to receive such information, we can remove the participant’s name from the list at any time.
3-Random Draw A random draw will be conducted on Friday July 29, 2005, in Saint-Georges, Quebec, from all eligible entries received. In order to win, the selected entrant, who will be contacted by e-mail, must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical aid and must be eligible according to the official rules. The entrant will also have to provide a valid address and proof that his job function is related to interior design or commercial architecture. In the event that the selected entrant cannot be contacted within 10 DAYS of prize notification, or if the e-mail address is not functional after two tests, another selected entrant will be chosen.
4-Eligibility This sweepstake is open only to American and Canadian citizens working as interior designers, architects, corporate/purchasing managers, as well as people whose job is related to interior design or commercial architecture; all entrants must be of legal age at time of entry. Employees of Victor Innovatex, its subsidiaries, affiliates and their family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible. Victor Innovatex shall not be held responsible for any accident or negligence, printing or administrative errors, or any other problem that may arise or occur in relation with the contest. All information gathered will only be used for the purpose of conducting this contest.
5-Legal Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Victor Innovatex reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law—including criminal prosecution. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
