Eco Intelligence® helps you gain the LEED.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a Green Building Rating System developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). It provides standards for environmentally sustainable construction.

LEED for Commercial Interiors is the recognized standard for certifying high-performance green interiors that are healthy, productive places to work, are less costly to operate and maintain, and reduce the environmental footprint.

The LEED Rating System

Based on a set of required prerequisites and a variety of credits in six major categories:
  • Sustainable sites
  • Water efficiency
  • Energy and atmosphere
  • Materials and resources
  • Indoor environmental quality
  • Innovation and design process

LEED certification is obtained after submitting an application documenting compliance with the requirements of the rating system.
Buildings can qualify for four levels of certification:
  • Certified - 40-50% of non-innovation points
  • Silver - 50-60%
  • Gold - 60-80%
  • Platinum - over 80%
Now Eco Intelligence® can contribute to additional LEEDS points:
  • One point for Innovation in Design, Eco Intelligence® products are Cradle to Cradle Gold™ certified by MBDC.
  • One point for Low-emitting materials or low VOC's
  • One point for Local/Regional Materials if the fabric was manufactured within a 500-mile radius of your project. So, for example a office chair with our Eco Intelligent® fabric, the 500 mile radius starts from the manufacturing plant of the chair.
  • All of Victor’s recycled fabrics could contribute to LEEDS points for Materials and Resources (Recycled content)
